1. A pack of Downy fabric spray because you and I both know you don't actually own an iron (it's OK, I'm a mother of two and don't have one either). Pull this out, cover your wrinkled mess of a shirt with it, and marvel over just how easy it can be to look polished (no electricity involved!)
Former BuzzFeed editor Danielle Healy is a big fan: I hate wrinkles *and* am lazy — two at-odds conditions. This stuff has been a staple in my life since approximately ninth grade (thanks to my mama). As a former Catholic school uniform wearer, this stuff was VITAL to freshening up wrinkly dress shirts that spent the after-school hours stuffed in a gym bag. The scent is light and fresh, and its wrinkle-releasing powers are nearly instant. It definitely works better on some fabrics than others (great on cotton, less great on some synthetics), but it'll improve the look of most without dealing with an iron or steamer.

2. A beard apron that'll finally put an end to the daily argument you and your partner have about their inability to clean all of the hair particles off the bathroom counter after they've finished shaving. No more brushing away debris while brushing your teeth!
You may have seen this product, which comes from a small business, on Shark Tank!
Promising review: "I always dread when my man cleans up his beard because there are trimmings EVERYWHERE. Got him this as an anniversary present and it does indeed work as advertised. Trimmings around the sink reduced by 99.9%. if you're about to throw the whole man out over beard trimmings ruining your life, try this first." —Jessie

3. A moth-attracting trap featuring a lovely lavender scent that'll spare the wardrobe you've so carefully collected from second-hand shops and flea markets from being chewed up before you get a chance to show it off to the world.
MothMag is a small business!
Promising review: "I had a huge, apocalyptic infestation of wool moths. I understand they have a purpose in nature, keeping the nests of squirrels clean. I say that so as not to condemn them completely, but they destroyed rugs, sweaters, lamp shades, weird stuff I wouldn’t expect them to destroy. They worked their way into fabric wrapped in plastic cases. They loitered in my recycling and trash cans. I’d open the garage door and see 100 of them hanging onto the doorframe. These traps caught them ALL. It takes time to catch all the generations, but I haven’t seen a moth in months now. Too late for my Icelandic sweaters and Turkish rug, but maybe good timing for you." —Kristina

4. And an indoor plug-in fly trap that'll make a valiant effort to keep your kitchen fruit fly-free (and mosquitos, gnats, moths, etc). These pesky little bugs always seem to turn up the *second* the weather slightly improves. Instead of crying out, "THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS!" just plug this baby in and let it get to work.
Promising review: "We moved to a 'buggy' new state, and right away I found myself getting small flies in the house. I didn't want to buy traditional fly paper or traps, so I gave these a try. Sure glad I did! I had no idea just how many little critters were in the house until I plugged these in and let them do their job. They do their work at night when the lights are off. Bugs can't help but go toward the soft blue light. They catch flies, gnats, moths, and mosquitoes! It's also nice that they act as a soft nightlight while hiding the dead bugs behind it." — LA Jones

5. A Baby Shusher because even though it may seem silly to buy a gadget that literally makes a sound you can make on your own for free, you'll be happy to have it come 2 a.m. when you're exhausted and *really* not in the mood to continue “shhh”ing repeatedly.
The Baby Shusher is safe to use in a crib, has adjustable volume, and it can be set to make noise for 15- or 30-minute intervals. Additionally, it comes from a small business.
Promising review: "I was so tired of 'shushing.' Literally, I shushed so hard and for so long, it made me light-headed. My baby has serious FOMO and fights naps like the plague. This helps so much! Even during the worst fits, this helps calm her, and she's out in minutes. Great for the car too!" —Jami

7. Miss Mouth's Messy Eater Stain Treater Spray you'll be very glad you bought after your kid's *~super fun auntie~* hands them a rainbow ice pop to chow down on in the hot summer sun. Siiiiigh.
My 1-year-old is a big ice pop fan, so I've got a long life ahead of me to be filled with stain removal. In the above photo I held her while she sucked down a red ice pop on a 90 degree day. Naturally, it dripped all over my white tank top (note to self: stop wearing white around these kids). I was actually kind of excited because it meant I got to put my newly purchased bottle of Miss Mouth's Messy Eater Stain Treater Spray to the test! I followed the directions on the bottle that said to dampen the stained area, spray it with the stain remover, then pop it into the washing machine as usual. What do ya know — it really worked! Completely cleared away all the red stains! Not sure what witchcraft has been used to make this product, but I'm here for it.
Promising review: "My 1-year-old has taco meat stains ALL over the sleeves of his shirt. The stains were 2–3 days old, too. I sprayed the shirt, let it sit for about 15 minutes, and then washed the shirt with regular laundry soap. Almost every bit of the stains came out. Definitely buying bulk in this product!" —Sloan Avery

Promising review: "The 'abrasive sponge when cold' or 'squishy when hot' is an awesome feature for the type of scrubbing you want to do. The Pink Stuff with the sponge does wonders! We have a hideous 30-year-old shower and although it doesn’t look brand-new like I was hoping, it’s 10 times better!! This product really does work!" —GreenGoddess
"I’ve been using this stuff for awhile for glass stove top but today I put it to the real test. It took me about 45 minutes to clean the inside of the oven. This is three years of buildup. This stuff makes it so much easier to clean! It was not easy because cleaning inside the stove was always so awkward and uncomfortable, but this stuff helped so much! I didn’t have to scrub really hard just a regular scrub." —Tia

Your pearly whites will feel as fresh as they do after the dentist but without the whole...ugh-I'm-going-to-the-dentist ordeal. There's also a travel version so you can take your new fave toothbrush on the go easily.
Mouthwatchers is a small business established by Ronald Plotka, DDS, that specializes in antimicrobial toothbrushes designed to get deeper cleans even patients with "great" dental hygiene might miss with traditional brush and floss routines. 11. A pack of carborundum sponges made from some of the toughest material out there (it's also known as Moissanite, yes, like the man-made diamond) to take your cleaning sesh to the next level. They don't even need soap to get the job done — just dip 'em in water and get to scrubbing. You're going to save *so* much money long term!
Promising review: "Nice and thin. You'll find so many more uses for these around the house than just getting stuff off the underside of cookware! I had hard, scaly water deposits on the glass surrounding our powder room faucet (one of those fancy, highfalutin modern-looking things). I've tried everything for four years to get this stuff off. One day I thought, maybe i'll try my sponges. Took it all off super easily!!!! Faucet looks like new. My only rec is to spot-test your item first before using it because it will scratch certain surfaces if you scrub too aggressively (for example, it gets the burned-on, weird stuff off of the bottom of my fave Our Place pan, but I rubbed too hard in one spot and it took the color right off lol)." —Hoarder

12. WellPatch migraine/headache patches you'll praise as a holy grail product once you discover how wonderfully their cooling effect helps ease pain from your biggest nemesis: a powerful migraine. Pop it onto your forehead or neck; it should work for up to 12 hours!
BuzzFeed contributor Jordan Grigsby tested these out! She said, "I had COVID a few weeks ago and because I'm, like, a fake adult (like I still drink Capri-Suns, the fact that I'm an actual adult is wild), I of course had basically NOTHING in my med cabinet except Band-Aids and things to use when I get hurt cuz I get hurt more than I get sick. So I called my mom and she brought me more testing kits, soup, ginger ale...mom stuff. But I was still in pain and forgot to ask her for actual medicine. Luckily, my cousin lives in my apartment complex and she brought over a little sick care package — tea, more soup, Body Armor drinks, Tylenol, and these little miracles. The migraines were making me SO nauseous and I couldn't sleep, so I slapped one of these on my forehead and OMG, the literal instant relief was wild. It has a slight menthol-y smell combined with some sort of magic, and a cooling effect that helped make my head stop throbbing so I could sleep (yes, I slept with them on). I love these so much and I will never be without them again. These were my quarantine MVP."

Since it's bladeless, it won't make a racket while you're trying to get some shut-eye or listen to your fave murder mystery podcast.
BuzzFeed editor Jenae Sitzes swears by this fan, she said, "I have this exact tower fan, and as someone who doesn't have an AC in her bedroom (because it's a fire escape window), LET ME TELL YOU: It comes in clutch. And not only in the summer, but year-round — in the winter, this thing keeps us from burning up once our ~overzealous~ radiator kicks on (New Yorkers know). So yeah, our Dreo fan works pretty much 365 days a year and has been going strong since summer 2023. It has six speeds, though I only need to kick it up to full blast occasionally. It keeps me cool at night, it's quiet, and the night mode is super handy because it turns off the LED display quickly if you need to adjust the speed during the night. You can mute the little beeping sounds with the remote too if needed."
Promising review: "This fan saved my life. I like the noise, but it's not too loud. It's perfect for the slight white noise. The power is great! I usually keep it on settings 1–3 because I like the lower blow, but level 5 is powerful and will keep you cool. It's so cool when connected to Alexa. She can control it all, and I never have to get up! It was easy to set u,p too!" —HayHay

Promising review: "I moved last year from Southern California to North Carolina. Bugs of all types have always been attracted to me but the amount of bites I got last summer was WILD. Someone gave me one of these types of bracelets to use one day and it seemed to work SOOOOOO I decided to buy myself an arsenal to prepare for this summer. I read the reviews and about 99% of them had great results. I've only used this bracelet twice but both times I was outside and untouched. I'm not fond of the smell, I'm hyper sensitive to smells, but I'd rather have the odor than being chewed alive." —Tracey Agopian

16. A Wet & Forget weekly cleaner you can spritz on your shower walls and tub after you're done cleaning yourself. Leave it on overnight — no scrubbing necessary — and just wash it off the next time you're in the shower!
Promising review: "This may be the best thing I have ever bought off of Amazon. And I buy quite a bit. Long story short, the tub in my kids' bathroom was atrocious due to spotty cleaning and hard water. I bought this with a heavy dose of skepticism, even though the reviews were mighty impressive. On the back of the bottle, it says that you may need several daily applications before your tub is clean, and then you can switch to a weekly application. I'm on day three, and let me say, even if this stuff worked no further, I AM BLOWN AWAY. The shower looks close to new. A couple of more days and I'll be able to switch to weekly!." —Tee

17. A crack weeder tool to add to your yard clean-up arsenal — it has a head specifically designed to rake through the thinnest cracks and pull out all those unwanted weeds right from their roots.
Garden Guru is a small business that sells lawn and garden tools.
BuzzFeed editor Sally Elshorafa tried this out! She said, "After moving to the East Coast, I quickly learned that the stone pathways around my home are basically a spa retreat for moss and weeds. The cracks collect moisture, trap organic debris, and offer *just* enough shelter to help unwanted greenery flourish, especially with all the shade and rain we get. I didn't want my outdoor space to turn into a jungle, so I grabbed this tool and got to work. It's weirdly satisfying — kind of like flossing, but for your stone paths. The bent tip slides right into the cracks and pulls weeds out from the root, which helps keep them from coming back anytime soon. I've used it on my pathways, driveway, and anywhere else something tries to sprout where it shouldn't. The handle is comfortable, and it doesn't take much effort to use. It's quickly becoming one of my favorites. If you've got hardscaping, you need this in your toolkit."

I use this gel on my thighs, stomach, and underarms. I pair it with Nivea’s body lotion for the rest of my body. A little bit goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a while. Promising review: "I was just looking at these pillows again in case I had to purchase new ones. I originally purchased them two years ago. They are the most wonderful and comfy pillows I've ever had. When I read the reviews saying they washed up badly, I was ready to buy new ones. Lo and behold, I washed them and dried them in the dryer, and they turned out great. I just have the older type stackable washer and dryer set, not large, just regular sized. I put both pillows in the washer on gentle, then put both pillows in the dryer. I ran the dryer on medium heat and ran the cycle several times, just to make sure.
