    The wrestling community is mourning Hulk Hogan's death after he suffered cardiac arrest on Thursday, aged 71. The wrestler, known for his signature blonde mustache, large personality, and wrestling moves like the leg drop, became an international figure in the '80s and '90s through his work with the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) and the WCW (World Championship Wrestling).

    Shortly after his death, many celebrities and other public figures took to social media to react.

    WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away.

    One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s.

    Ric Flair said that he was "absolutely shocked" by the news of Hulk's death. Posting photos of himself and Hulk throughout their wrestling careers, Ric wrote, "No One Will Ever Compare To You! Rest In Peace My Friend!"

    Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson paid tribute to his "brother" and childhood inspiration, Hulk, on Instagram.

    President Donald Trump remembered "the 'Hulkster'" on Truth Social, including his "absolutely electric speech at the Republican National Convention." Trump said, "He entertained fans from all over the World, and the cultural impact he had was massive. To his wife, Sky, and family, we give our warmest best wishes and love. Hulk Hogan will be greatly missed!"

    Sting called Hulk "THE GREATEST OF ALL." Tweeting a picture of them shaking hands in the ring, he added, "Can't thank you enough for all that you did for me and for wrestling fans all over the world. I loved you and I will miss you. My friend, Terry Bollea, RIP."

    In an X post, Kurt Angle thanked Hulk for paving the way for him. "There would not be a Kurt Angle, without the American Made, Hulk Hogan," he wrote, adding, "My heart and prayers go out to his family. We lost a real icon today."

    Donald Trump Jr. tweeted a photo with Hulk and said, "R.I.P to a legend."

    "He is probably the most famous pro wrestler who ever lived," journalist Dave Meltzer added, "and more people paid to see him perform over the course of his career than any other person." He proceeded to thank Hulk for all of the special memories.

    Adrianne Curry from America's Next Top Model remembered how "nice" Hulk was when she ran into him at an event. "I was just getting off a red carpet when someone grabbed me by around my waist and picked me st8 up into the air," she recalled. "I am NOT SMALL, and I am NOT light. It was Hulk Hogan. He wanted to introduce me to his daughter. He was so nice and loved his daughter so much, it oozed from him.     And finally, Charlotte Flair remembered how Hulk supported her when her dad, Ric, was experiencing organ failure. She wrote that she was sad for his children, Nick and Brooke, before tweeting, "Rest in peace, brother."
